Shinanomachi Campus

Passing the bar examination is a requirement to become a judge, public prosecutor, or lawyer.
Since 2006, a new bar examination system has been in effect with the old bar examination system continuing at the same time. In 2012, a full transition is scheduled to take place with the phasing out of the old system. With an educational curriculum that fits the new system, this program trains personnel who work in the various fields of business, international relations, government, and civic life.

A convenient location for commuting: An educational environment that is comfortable for working adults as well

The campus, located inside the station building, is less than a minute walk from JR Shinanomachi Station and is convenient for commuting. In addition, there is a curriculum that can be completed by attending classes on weekday evenings and weekends only as well as a Long-Term Student System, making the educational environment comfortable for working adults who aim at becoming legal specialists without leaving their jobs.

Four models that foster solid expertise

Dividing the field of legal affairs into four areas—business, international affairs, civic life, and policy—the school has a system in which students can choose areas that suit their own future career designs.

Thoroughness with small classes and two-way education

Basic lectures are composed of about 20 students, and seminars and comprehensive classes are made up of approximately 12 students each. The program aims to realize detailed instructions by introducing thoroughness with small classes and achieve enriched education through interactive discussions during class.
