Introduction to the Research Programs

The Education Studies Program was established in April 2008, joining the ranks of the Japanese Literature, Chinese Studies, English Literature, and Calligraphy Programs. The Japanese Literature, Chinese Studies, and Calligraphy Programs have doctor’s programs.
In all of these programs, precise research instructions are given by highly qualified teaching staff, and remarkable achievements have been made in every academic field. Among them, the Chinese Studies Program, who shoulders the responsibility of preserving the tradition of “Daito of Chinese Studies,” has contributed to the research and growth of Chinese studies in Japan. To date, the school has produced many researchers in this field who are active both in Japan and overseas.
