第１１回となる今回の留学生レポートリレーは、イタリアの学生からのメッセージをお届けします。

Italy is a beautiful country with a long history and is full of diversity.. From the food to the many dialects of Italian, my home country shows all the connections it had with many other countries for thousands of years.
Italy is often portrayed as a stylish place where people eat pizza while wearing fancy designer clothes, and while that may be true, there is so much more that is worth discovering.
From Dante Alighieri to Eugenio Montale, italian literature and poetry is beautiful and romantic, just like Italian songwriting with artists like Fabrizio De André who always chose the best words to tell touching stories throughout his songs. 
Italians love to party, make new friends and have fun together while eating good food!

My University is in Florence, a city in central Italy which is well known for its museums and historical buildings from the Renaissance Era. The Faculty of Foreign Languages (my faculty!) is located in the city center, and it is nice to go from a building to the other while strolling along the beautiful traditional streets of the city. Everyday feels like being a tourist! 
The University of Florence allows students to choose among several faculties, from humanities to science, both bachelor and master degrees.

I have been in love with the Japanese language since I was little. I was surfing the internet when I came across Japanese pop music and it really was love at first sight! I wanted to know more and more about this beautiful language ever since, so I decided to study Japanese at University hoping I could visit Japan someday. So I did my best to earn the scholarship and chose Daito Bunka University for my exchange program.
I have learned so many things since I started studying Japanese and I hope I can learn more and more because I think speaking many foreign languages allows us to see the world from many perspectives and makes us rich.

Daito Bunka University has two beautiful and well stocked campuses where students can relax during their spare time between classes.
Higashimatsuyama campus is surrounded by nature, and gives students a chance to enjoy all the gorgeous and heartwarming colors that change throughout the seasons.
The staff at the international center is always there for everyone, treating us with patience and kindness, helping us step by step and involving us in many fun and interesting cultural activities. You can always count on their unconditional support!

Be curious, discover, always study with your heart, not for grades, but to become the best human being you can be! Make friends from all over the world, learn languages, try new food, have fun and do your best until your graduation!

Enjoy your exchange period at Daito Bunka University, make friends, bond with other international students, speak Japanese as much as you can and do not be afraid of making mistakes! That is the only way to improve!

These six months were full of opportunities and new fun experiences. I will never forget this exchange program period at Daito Bunka University!
