政治学科 武田知己教授が、2025年9月19日、ポーランドの都市クラクフのヤゲウォ大学で開催された第23回国際オーラルヒストリー学会（the 23rd IOHA Conference inKraków）で、Describing the History of the Asia-Pacific Warand The Power of Oral History（邦題アジア太平洋戦争を描くこと、そしてオーラルヒストリーの力）と題して、武田教授が整理と公開に携わってきた『昭和史の天皇』（読売新聞に1967-1975にわたり連載、国立国会図書館憲政資料室保管）と沖縄戦に関するオーラルヒストリー（宮城聰文書、沖縄公文書館所蔵）について報告しました。また、戦後80年を契機に、ワルシャワのワルシャワ蜂起研究センター、ワルシャワ大学ヨーロッパセンターなどとの共同研究もおこなわれる予定です。

Professor Tomoki Takeda of the Faculty of Law, Department of Political Science, gave a presentation titled “Describing the History of the Asia-Pacific War and the power of Oral History” at the 23rd International Oral History Association Conference in Kraków, Poland.
In his talk, he discussed “Emperor Showa in History”—a series published in The Yomiuri Shimbun from 1967 to 1975 interviews of which are housed in the National Diet
Library’s Constitutional History Materials Room—as well as oral history records of the Battle of Okinawa in Sou Miyagi Papers in the Okinawa Prefectural Archives.
Looking ahead from the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII, Professor Takeda plans collaborative research with bothTadeusz Manteuffel Institute of History Polish Academy of Sciences and The Center for Europe at University of Warsaw.
